Business.com sold for $350 Million!
July 26th, 2007
Here is another history in the internet story. Business.com has built a quality directory that rivals the yahoo directory in the business niche. So according to TechCrunch, business.com was sold to RH Donnelley for $350 million, RH Donnelley beat out Dow Jones and the New York Times during the bidding.
The domain has enter the world record as the most expensive domain name ever, it could possibly be the most expensive non-existence object ever. I’m wondering is there’s any coming domain bid that can “over take” this record.
For me, I’m looking for this new domain.asia. Who knows, maybe I can get a good domain name to sell 10 years from now.
Anyway, $7.5 million to $360 million in 8 years is pretty good going!
