Keywords are very very important when looking for domains to register or buy. Whenever possible, try to include keywords related to your sites content in the domain, but don’t be overly worried if this isn’t a viable option and you can’t find any decent domains that meet this criteria. The trick is to learn to predict how your field is going to develop and what domain names would come into use.

If a domain has a good PR is will be worth more as well. This can also tell you if there was a site up on the domain as well. I know because I have veen trade my domains for many times at many forums. And I will continue in selling domain because I really want to buy one of these Movado watches.
